Zoho CRM and Xero

Zoho CRM and Xero integration, built for how you invoice

Stop typing orders into your CRM and again into Xero. We connect Zoho CRM to Xero so customers, invoices and payment status stay in step.

The problem

Two systems, one set of customers

Sales works in Zoho CRM. Finance works in Xero. Without a link, someone retypes every won deal as an invoice, and sales users can't see who has paid.

That means double entry, typos in invoices, and awkward calls to customers who already paid.

What a good integration does

  • Creates the Xero contact when a deal is won
  • Builds the Xero invoice from the CRM deal or quote, line by line
  • Applies the right tax treatment for each customer
  • Shows invoice and payment status back in Zoho CRM
  • Stops duplicate contacts appearing in Xero
How it works

From won deal to paid invoice

Data moves both ways, so sales and finance see the same numbers.

Our approach

We build the integration ourselves

Off-the-shelf connectors work the way their developer decided. Your invoicing rarely does.

So we build the Zoho CRM to Xero integration ourselves, around your rules: which deals get invoiced, how each line is built, which tax code applies and which Xero organisation it goes to.

You own it, it lives in your Zoho account, and we can change it when your invoicing changes.

What you get

  • Invoices built from deals or quotes, line by line
  • Tax rules per customer or product
  • Support for more than one Xero organisation
  • Payment status written back to CRM
  • Error alerts if a sync fails
  • Full documentation and handover
Recent build

Zoho CRM to two Xero organisations

The setup

A client with several invoicing models, invoicing from two separate Xero organisations.

The tricky part

Different VAT treatment per customer: UK, EU reverse charge and rest of world. Each invoice had to pick the right one.

What we built

A custom integration that builds multi-line Xero invoices from CRM, routed to the correct Xero organisation with the correct tax treatment.

Ongoing support

Keep your integration running

Integrations need looking after when Xero, Zoho or your invoicing changes. Our managed service covers it.

FAQ

Zoho CRM and Xero questions

Does Zoho CRM integrate with Xero?
Yes. Ready-made extensions exist for simple setups. We build custom integrations so the rules match how you invoice.
Should we switch from Xero to Zoho Books instead?
Sometimes. Zoho Books connects to Zoho CRM without extra tools. Many businesses keep Xero because their accountant uses it. We help you weigh up both.
Can the integration handle different VAT rates?
Yes. We build tax rules per customer or per product, including EU reverse charge.
Can sales users see if an invoice is paid?
Yes. Payment status can be written back to the Zoho CRM account or deal so sales sees it without logging into Xero.
What does it cost?
We quote a fixed price after we review how you invoice today.
We use Sage, NetSuite or another ERP. Can you connect that too?
Yes. We build custom integrations between CRMs and ERP systems such as Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP Business One. See CRM and ERP integration.
